- Administration
- phpBB-Tutorials became a registered domain on January 30th, 2009.
The registered domain names, phpbb-tutorials.com is owned and operated by Rodney J Angell.
These rules will be administered by the Site Owner to reflect the requirements for a happy and fun
environment.
The Site Owner reserves the right to change, alter or allow concessions to these rules to include, but
not be limited to, Christmas, New Year and Easter.

- Moderators
- Moderators, if appointed will be responsible for the policing of the forum and any decision
that could lead to a member being banned will be referred to Administrators and only be made by a member of Admin staff.
If a moderator feels that a member has contravened the rules to a point that a banning is required then that
moderator is to notify a member of Admin of the circumstances involved.
Moderators should make their
judgement based on the 3 strikes and your out rule, by giving the member 3 written warnings as to the
unacceptable behaviour before notifying Admin of the problem.
Moderators are required to be senior members. If you would like to become a moderator then you will need to apply to the Site Owner.

- Registration Agreement
- phpBB-Tutorials.com forum allows a HIGH tolerance by members as to their
use of the forum. However, we are bound by certain rules and regulations that you are required to agree to
in order to join.
While the administrators and moderators of phpBB-Tutorials.com forum will attempt to
remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review
every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions
of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and
hence will not be held liable.
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful,
threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may
lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP
address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster,
administrator and moderators of phpBB-Tutorials.com forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic
at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored
in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the
webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead
to the data being compromised.
This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer.
These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered above; they serve only to improve your
viewing pleasure. The e-mail address is used only for confirming your registration details and password
(and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one).

- Forum Rules
- Posts are to be made in the relevant forum or sub forum.
Users are asked to read
the forum descriptions before posting.
Users consistently posting to the wrong forum may be given a
warning (see policing below).
Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users.
Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning.
Members are asked to not act as back seat moderators.
If members note an issue which contravenes
something in this policy document they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a member of the
phpBB-Tutorials.com Administration Team via PM.
Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience.
Posting *X* Rated text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning.
Members are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc.
Users linking to or asking for information on warez, crackz, etc. or re-printing material without permision
will receive a warning and their post will be removed.
Members should respect the bandwidth of other
users and sites.
The use of inline ([img][/img]) image tags pointing to data stored on third party
systems for which the user has not received permission to link to may be removed.
The maximum size
of images should not exceed 450 pixels in width.
Members who post oversized images that stretch the
forum will be asked to resize and edit their posts accordingly.
Members should post in a way which is
consistent with normal writing.
That is users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large,
small or coloured text, etc.
Similarly users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation
(e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts.
Users consistently abusing this will be warned.
Members should use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic.
Examples of bad
titles include; Help me!, I'm stuck!, I've got an error!, etc.
The moderating, support and other teams reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time.
The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to The phpBB-Tutorials.com Administrators and not users.

- Emails will be sent to your registered email address from time to time to let you
know what is happening with the latest news from phpBB-Tutorials.com.
If your email address is no longer valid, the email will bounce and we will force you to update your email
address on your next visit.
If emails sent to your address bounce 3 times, then your account will be deleted so please ensure you keep
it updated at all times.

- Spamming
- Please do not spam our forums.
Spam is not tolerated here under any
circumstance.
This includes offering hosting services (charged and free), installation services, referral links, etc.
Users posting spam will be warned and their post removed.
Advertising space is available on the
website for such.
Our phpBB-Tutorials.com Aministrators are able to ban users that are spamming.

- Private Messages
- The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging.
Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings (as above) and/or the revoking of private
messaging.
You can choose to be notified or not of Private Messages by email or pop up window.
You can set these to your own requirements in your UCP profile.

- Signatures
- Signatures may contain up to five lines (one line being that displayed on a
browser opened to 800px width) of text (of small or normal size) and/or one image, valid combinations
include; a single image of no more than 150px high, 300px wide and 15KB in size. Banners should not exceed 400px wide.
Signatures containing an image this large may also include one line of small size text.
Signatures
containing an image of 30px high may include up to three lines of small size text or two lines of normal
size text.
Images of 15px height or less may allow up to three lines of normal size text or four
lines of small size text.
Text sizes should be between 9 and 12 (small and normal).
Text in
signatures is subject to the same conditions as posts with respect decency, warez, emoticons, etc.
Links are permitted in signatures. Such links may be made to non phpBB-Tutorials.com material, commercial ventures, etc.
Links are included within the text and image limits above.
Links to offensive sites will be subject to removal. Users abusing these rules will be warned.

- Avatars
- User defined avatars are to be no larger than 120 x 120 pixels, they can be
animated, contain no image which attempts to portray the user as having an official status here e.g.
mimiking ranks or copying avatars of team members, may not exceed 6KB in filesize.
Avatars should be
PM'd to the site Administrator to be uploaded to the phpBB-Tutorials.com Avatar gallery.
Avatars from this site are not to be hot linked to any other sites under any circumstances.
Avatars are subject to the same conditions as posts with respect to decency, etc.
Users abusing these
rules will be warned and/or may lose their avatar privileges.

- You can use your own images or images from other sites provided they do
not breach the rules of the other site regarding hotlinking.
The maximum width of images posted on
the forum should be no larger than 600 pixels high and 450 pixels wide.

- The phpBB-Tutorials.com Web site (referred to hereafter as phpBB-Tutorials) is owned and operated by Rodney J Angell ABN 99 117 542 069. The Service is open for membership to individuals of all ages. Membership of phpBB-Tutorials is conditional upon acceptance and compliance with the terms, conditions, notices and disclaimers contained in this document and elsewhere on the phpBB-Tutorials.com website. The submission of the online membership application constitutes the members acceptance of the Terms of Service. Since the member is bound by these Terms of Service, the member should periodically refer to them here. phpBB-Tutorials reserves the right to vary the Terms of Service, specifications, rates, rewards, rules and terms and conditions of any element of the phpBB-Tutorials website facilities at any time without notice.

- phpBB-Tutorials reserves the right to terminate the membership of individuals who violate the following conditions of membership: An individual may only apply for one membership. Each email address can only belong to one member. The member must not send unsolicited email (SPAM) to strangers to promote phpBB-Tutorials. An individual must not join nor use phpBB-Tutorials on behalf of another individual. The member must inform phpBB-Tutorials of any change in the members personal details, including email address. This can be done through the phpBB-Tutorials User Control Panel page on the phpBB-Tutorials Web site. Any other reason deemed inappropriate in the reasonable opinion of phpBB-Tutorials Administration. phpBB-Tutorials also reserves the right to terminate the membership of any individual without cause or reason.

- The phpBB-Tutorials website contains electronic bulletin boards, chat rooms and other communication facilities which provide for feedback by members to phpBB-Tutorials, real-time interaction between members and other electronic messaging and notice services (referred to hereafter as Communication Facilities). It is a condition of your use of any Communication Facility and your access to the Network that you do not do any of the following: Restrict or inhibit any other member from using or enjoying any chat room, post or transmit any unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, profane or indecent information or material of any kind, including without limitation any transmissions constituting or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable law, post or transmit any material of any kind which violates or infringes upon the rights of any other person, including material which is an invasion of any privacy or publicity rights or which is protected by copyright, trademark or any other proprietary right, or derivative works with respect thereto, without first obtaining permission from the owner or relevant right holder, post or transmit any material of any kind which contains a virus or other harmful component, post, transmit or in any way exploit any material of any kind for commercial purposes, or which contains any promotional material or advertising. Violations of these terms relating to Communication Facilities may result in a penalty, a suspension from posting in the forum, or cancellation of your membership. phpBB-Tutorials may from time to time monitor or review the contents of its Communication Facilities. While phpBB-Tutorials reserves its right to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information and/or materials (in whole or in part) that in phpBB-Tutorialss sole discretion is in any way objectionable or in violation of any applicable law or the Terms of Service, phpBB-Tutorials has no obligation whatsoever to monitor any Communication Facility or to edit, delete or refuse to post such contents, nor is phpBB-Tutorials responsible for any contents in any Communication Facilities. - The member acknowledges that it has not relied upon or been induced by any representation by phpBB-Tutorials and phpBB-Tutorials makes no warranty or representation as to: the results that may be obtained through membership of the service, the accuracy, reliability or otherwise of any information obtained through membership of the service, the financial or other rewards which may be obtained through membership of the service, the service or network being uninterrupted, timely or error free, the goods and/or services purchased or obtained through the service or network, including goods and/or services offered by third party advertisers, except where expressly indicated.

- Limitation of Liability
- The member releases phpBB-Tutorials and its officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries and affiliates from any claim for loss, damage or liability, including special indirect or consequential loss or damage such as loss of revenue, unavailability of systems or loss of data, in respect of: any advertising emails forwarded to the member, membership of the service, the members use of or inability to use the phpBB-Tutorials Network, the quality of goods and/or services purchased by the member, any dispute with a supplier of goods and/or services.

- Indemnification
- The member indemnifies and kepts indemnified phpBB-Tutorials and its officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries and affiliates against all claims (including third party claims), demands, damages, costs (including legal costs), penalties or suits arising out of or consequential upon the members use of the service or the network.

- These Terms of Service are effective until terminated by phpBB-Tutorials. phpBB-Tutorials may terminate these Terms of Service at any time without notice.

- Governing Law
- These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland and of the Commonwealth of Australia. The member submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia. These Terms of Service should be read in conjunction with the phpBB-Tutorials Privacy Policy.
